About Us
In 1972 Harvey and Carol purchased a new Wheel Horse GT14 tractor from a dealer in Massachusetts to use for multiple tasks on their new property. Some of the chores of the "Horse" included mowing the lawn, hauling wood and pushing manure to clean out the chicken coop before each time there were a new batch of pullets to raise. Shortly after retiring from the United States Navy in 1974 having completed 22 years of service, Harvey and Carol decided to utilize the coop to start selling and servicing Wheel Horse lawn and garden tractors in 1976.
The Wheel Horse tractor line was instrumental in starting Dubay's Tractor Center as an enduring family small business both selling and servicing high quality power equipment in the northeast corner of CT.
Over the years we have expanded our product lines, skills, and customer base, keeping us competitive in the outdoor power equipment market.
